Mute Swan with American Coots. Mute Swan chicks (called cygnets) have two morphs: grey or "Royal", and white or "Polish".

This American White Pelican had a hurt, possibly broken, wing, and was grounded and couldn't leave with the rest of the flock.

Some people from a wildlife society in McKinley woods are keeping a eye on it.

In this picture, you can really see the Pelican's pouch.

Here, you can see the black tip of the wing, which shouldn't be visible under normal circumstances.

While "Murmuration" refers to the hypnotic grouping of starlings containing hundreds, sometimes thousands of birds, these Red-winged Blackbirds were doing a very similar thing.
