This was our first visit to Orland Grassland. Ima read a sign that noted it is an imprtant bird area and a protected site. We saw new (to us) species of birds including, Eastern Meadowlark, a flock of flying Sandhill cranes and Green-winged Teal. Ari saw a Green-winged Teal's butt through the scope. It was so yellow he though it was an American Goldfinch.
