We visited Jackson Park again today. It's one of our favorite birding locations. Ima got a great pick of a Double-crested Cormorant. They have blue eyes and, during their breeding season, blue mouths.

If you live in the Ruby-throated Hummingbird's breeding habitat, you won't see the males for long, as they only stay for courtship and mating, leaving as early as August. |
