6.3.23 Deer Grove Forest Preserve West, Palatine, IL

This post is in progress. Please see older posts for descriptive content.

Anne wanted to get take out from one of her favorite restaurants, Pita Inn. She grew up eating at the Skokie restaurant and doesn't get to eat there very often since we are rarely in the northern suburbs. After we got the food (combo and chicken tenders entrees), we decided to take state highways home instead of the interstate. This was a stop to look around on the way home. Lots of woodpeckers around here.
