We followed the path around the slough and saw lots of species, bird and otherwise. We saw so many frogs, which we hope means the area is healthy and thriving. Anne spotted the tiniest frog we'd ever seen. She thought it was a cricket but was shocked to see it was a frog! We looked it up when we got home and it is appropriately named a Cricket Frog. Also, we saw our first hooded merganser WITH a hood.
