9.12.23 Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve, Oak Brook, IL

We were over West anyway to pick something up, so we thought we'd check out Fullersburg Woods. As we drove in, we were surrounded by warblers! I took pics of a Blackburnian, a Blackpoll, and a couple Tennessee Warblers just out of our car window. Later, there were more Tennessee Warblers, a Bay-breasted Warbler that commented on my shirt, a Black-and-white Warbler, a couple White-breasted Nuthatches, and a LOT of juvenile Cedar Waxwings. This was an all-around fun trip, but it was just a bit of a drive for us.
