While we were driving home from Muirhead, we spotted a Sandhill Crane near the road, at a prairie restoration site, and decided to pull into the adjoining parking lot to take pics. Once we got out of the car, we noticed there's two! Wait, no, three! Four! Four Sandhill Cranes, probably a mated pair and their two colts! We watched them for a while, then continued on our drive home.
