We decided to come to Little Red Schoolhouse Nature Center because we saw a eBird report of a Tufted Titmouse and I haven't seen many of those, we wanted to find out where the feeders are, and we were nearby. We found the feeders pretty quickly, and there weren't tons of birds at the feeders, just some Dark-eyed Juncos and Mourning Doves, but then we saw the Barred Owl! It was a captive one, in a large cage. According to the sign next to the cage, it was a wild owl that got injured and was unable to return to the wild, so Little Red Schoolhouse now takes care of it. We also saw the Titmouse a couple of times, and when we left, a Red-tailed Hawk!
