4.1.24 McKinley Park, Chicago, IL

On 4.1.24 my father, brother and I visited this McKinley Park industrial building area to check on the Peregrine Falcon pair. The female was perched on the north side of a building south of the Tower. We assumed the male was inside at the nest site upon arrival. She flew around the tower four times then perched at the broken window and vocalized. She went into the building. The female then walked over to  the male and seemed to pull at his tail feathers to maybe wake him. They then switched positions and he flew out to a perch on south side of the tower before flying off to presumably hunt.

See more about these Peregrine Falcons on my McKinley Peregrines page.
