Please be aware, this post has content of the Peregrine Falcons with prey.
On 6.11.24 my mother, father, brother and I visited this McKinley Park industrial building area to check on the Peregrine Falcon family at 6:00 AM. One of the Peregrine Falcon offspring fledged! I later returned with my father and brother at 12:00PM. We had the honor of meeting Mary Hennen! I later returned with my father at 4:30pm. The fledgling had left the south side of the tower and was calling from a building to the south. On 6.13.24 we were told by a building tenant that the fledgling pictured below had been found 6.11.24 and taken to Willowbrook Wildlife Rescue in the ensuing days. Hopefully more information to come next week. Willowbrook is the center where Chicago Bird Collision Monitors take the injured birds they receive.
See more about these Peregrine Falcons on my McKinley Peregrines page.
