Please be aware, this post has content of the Peregrine Falcons with prey.
On 6.16.25 my father and I visited this McKinley Park industrial building area to check on the Peregrine Falcon family at 5:30AM. We saw the adult male Peregrine adult (we call Morty) and the adult female (we call Bree) and both fledgelings.
This is one of two pages with information about what we saw.
In this post, Morty is perched on a building until he flies to another building before leaving to hunt. He returns a few minutes later with a Mourning Dove that appeared very alive. He hands it off to a fledgling before switching places with Bree. Bree perches next to the fledglings with the Dove for a little bit, before walking over and killing the Dove. As the fledgling starts eating, Bree flies away. Morty flies back onto the building and perches on a lamp. The fledgling without the food walks over to Morty, calling for him to feed the fledgling. Morty flies away. Later, it appears as though the fledglings have switched places eating the food. -- Ima
