| The dead Red-shouldered Hawk that the Red-tailed Hawk was going to scavenge. It flew away before it ate any, and we double-bagged the body, wore PPE and handed the body off to the U.S Fish and Wildlife Services. The Red-shoulder was dead before the Red-tail got to it, as the eye was eaten out which is something a Red-tail wouldn't be able to do. |
