9.6.25 Peregrine Falcons, Chicago, IL

Please be aware, this post has content of a dead Common Nighthawk.

On 9.6.25 my father and I visited this McKinley Park industrial building area to check on the Peregrine Falcon family at 3:10PM. We saw the adult male Peregrine (we call Morty), and the adult female (we call Bree).

See more about these Peregrine Falcons on my McKinley Peregrines page.

3:11PM Morty perched on a windowsill on the red brick tower. The windows have something white behind them so they appear white.

3:11PM Bree (left) and Morty (right) perched on a windowsill.

3:11PM Bree stretching her wing and leg. She is seen from behind.

3:11PM Bree looking back towards the viewer. She has her back to us.

3:13PM A flock of Rock Pigeons with one Cooper's Hawk in the middle of the fray.

3:13PM Juvenile Cooper's Hawk
