After a unprecedented event, Ima Akagawa lost a 3 hour staring contest with an American Robin. In spite of the upset, it is still a record setting event for a bird photographer to maintain eye contact with a bird for so long. Both bird and photographer collapsed in exhaustion after the battle. The Robin then flew off, pooped, and stared at another passer by.
