Happy Earth Day 2026! We saw our first Orange-crowned Warbler of the year today. They have just started migrating through the Chicago area. We usually see them later in the season. This reminded us of the many ways people have impacted the weather, like more frequent and severe tornadoes affecting humans and birds alike. The Chicago area has seen a lot of tornadoes and high winds recently. This has destroyed trees, decreasing wildlife habitat.
We pledge to continue to support positive change to help nature as a community, not just as a resource.
