On 5.18.26 my family and I visited this McKinley Park industrial building area twice to check on the Peregrine Falcon family at 8:50AM and 3:25PM. We saw the adult male Peregrine (we call Morty) and the adult female Peregrine (we call Bree).
See more about these Peregrine Falcons on my McKinley Peregrines page.

| 1:41PM Morty, possibly trying to regurgitate a pellet. His tomial tooth is visible. "The (tomial) “tooth” and the corresponding divot in the lower mandible allow the bill to act like a pair of shears, which may make it easier for the predators to sever the spinal cords of their vertebrate prey." - All About Birds Birdword archive |
