Sax-Zim Bog December 2024-January 2025

This new year my father, brother and I visited Sax-Zim Bog. We only spent five hours over two days there, but we saw amazing creatures including our first Great Grey Owl! Below are links to the posts form our adventure.


Day 1. 12.30.24:

Illinois: North Point Marina. Pictured: Surf Scoter, American Coots, Scaups, Ring-necked Duck, Redheads, Harlequin Duck, Goldeneye, Red-breasted Mergansers, Gulls.

Wisconsin: Necedah National Wildlife Refuge. Pictured: Bald Eagles, Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch, Downy Woodpecker.
