We had hoped to see Sandhill Cranes at Muirhead Springs, as there had been a few sightings in the last week, but were a little discouraged when we walked almost all the way around and had seen no signs of cranes. A little, but not a lot, as we were pretty sure that they had been seen in the next pool of water, and sure enough, there they were! They hung out, preened, walked around with the Canada Geese, then after a while, they flew away. About 10 minutes after they left, we saw both a Peregrine Falcon and a Northern Harrier within about 3 minutes!
